Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Texas Animal Rescue Society! We're so excited you want to join our mission of saving cats and building a community of care.
Our Biggest Need Right Now: PetSmart Condo Care
Our adoption partner PetSmart in Magnolia is where many of our cats wait for their forever homes, and they need caring volunteers to keep them comfortable!
What this involves:
We're looking for volunteers who can commit to 90-minute shifts (morning or afternoon) at our cat condos located in our PetSmart partner location. You come for the cleaning… but end up staying for the cuddles!
General tasks include:

Cleaning cages and keeping spaces tidy

Changing litter, refilling water bowls, and helping with feeding times

Answering visitor questions (we'll have information available on-site for you!)

Giving our cats some love and attention while they wait for their families
It's hands-on, rewarding work that makes a huge difference in our cats' daily lives!
Other Ways to Help
Not able to commit to regular PetSmart visits? We have plenty of other volunteer opportunities:

Transportation – Drive cats to vet appointments or adoption events

Photography – Capture our adoptable cats at their most photogenic (those glamour shots help them get adopted!)

Social media – Help keep our followers engaged with updates, stories, and adorable content

Fundraising support – Assist with campaigns and events that fund our lifesaving work
