I agree to provide kind treatment and all proper and necessary care for the Animal, including, but not limited to, food, water, veterinary care, and human companionship.*

I understand that Texas Animal Society is a non-profit animal welfare agency specializing in placing neglected, abused, unwanted and/or abandoned domestic cats, in permanent homes. These animals come into our posession through various means including but not limited to surrender, and transferring animals from other animal agencies, meaning we do not always have a full history of every cat that comes through our doors.*

I understand I will be responsible for the continued veterinary care for this animal. I understand the agency will not be able to provide further treatment or assistance with diagnosis and management of a health condition or any agency-related illness. I will accept financial responsibility for all future veterinary bills and if I cannot I will contact Texas Animal Society.*

I am accepting the animal in its present condition, based on my own examination and inspection.*

I agree that I will not have any type of cosmetic surgery performed on this/these animal(s) such as declawing.*

I understand that Texas Animal Society will accept the return of the cat at any time without judgement.*

The adoption fee will be refunded only if the cat is returned within five (5) days of adoption with the exception of extraordinary circumstances that will be reviewed on a case by case basis.*
